Our Virus-Free Ventilation Solution in the headquarters of Hungarian Telekom

Background:
During the second wave of coronavirus, H1 Systems Engineering Services Ltd. developed a safe ventilation solution that is effective for the degermination of air passing through central air handling systems, thus ensuring that the air recirculated by the system cannot cause additional infections. In December 2020, Hungarian Telekom decided to install germicidal lamps and control systems controlling their operation in the air handling system of its Budapest headquarters in order to maintain the health of its employees.
Conducting the project:
The new solution installed is the result of a continuous improvement that adapts to the specific conditions. In this case, the germicidal lamps and electronic control cabinets were installed on the roof of the 8-storey building. When installing the system, it is always important that its condition and operation be able to be controlled at any time without the UV light of the lighting lamps presenting a danger to the operator, so a cap opening is installed in the duct through which an endoscopic a camera or a mobile phone can be used to check on the condition of the bulbs. At the request of our customer, the control cabinets were integrated into the existing building management system, and we also provided Internet access and unlimited expandability.
