We installed a smart heating and cooling control system at Caramell Premium Resort****superior. In the 3-stage implementation, we used a master-slave control centre and Heltun relay switches to solve the hierarchical management of the many endpoints, creating the possibility to manage the areas as logical blocks. We equipped the fan coils with Heltun thermostats and the radiators with smart heads, allowing the automation to take advantage of unrealistic settings and conditions while preserving the freedom of the guests.
As a result of the installation, the bad practice of guests opening all the radiator heads fully in cold weather or setting the cooling to maximum in hot weather -compensated by leaving the windows open- has been eliminated.
The overall system upgrade was successfully completed in all 142 rooms and common areas without disturbing the rest of the guests.
