We are pleased to announce that H1 Systems is participating in the European Union’s IPCEI CIS (Important Project of Common European Interest in Cloud Infrastructure and Services) project. This initiative is aimed at providing an alternative to the dominance of large cloud service providers, with a particular focus on data security and sustainability. H1 Systems is proud to be part of this initiative, which is in line with the company’s vision to bring IT infrastructure closer to the point of use in the future. The IPCEI is a key strategic tool for implementing the EU’s industrial strategy. IPCEI projects bring together knowledge, expertise, financial resources and economic actors across the EU to overcome important market or systemic barriers and societal challenges. The IPCEI CIS project will strengthen Europe’s innovation leadership in next generation computing services.
Over the past three years, H1 Systems has made significant efforts to develop its edge technology competence. As a result, we have achieved the recently announced partner status, another milestone in the company’s international portfolio. This project will allow us to work with major players in the edge infrastructure field such as Deutsche Telekom and Telefonica.
